Remarkable Place to Work

An engaging and happy working environment is key to business success. Your people probably spend over half their waking hours at work. Are you providing a positive experience for them?

This category is for the business going above and beyond to ensure your team benefits from a culture that supports wellbeing and is an uplifting workplace.

We want to see how you have made a positive difference to the culture of the business, or the physical working environment.  We want to hear how the views of staff have been listened to, ideas explored and the positive changes that have been made to make your business a remarkable place to work.

The Merton Best Business Awards recognise and promotes excellence, innovation and best practice in the borough. We want to see evidence of this through your online application.

We’d love to hear your story – so make sure you ‘paint a picture’ of your business or organisation and include some key performance indicators, facts, figures, case studies and testimonials.

We really want to see your enthusiasm in your application, so make it captivating, remembering to keep within the word limits and to focus your entry on the key points where your arguments are the strongest.

The judges are looking for something that attracts their attention, be bold and demonstrate your passion and don’t be afraid to be visual. Judges welcome relevant photos and marketing materials too.

To be eligible for this award, your business start date must be before 1st January 2018 and is for any size of business.

If you have any questions, please contact the awards team on 020 8944 5501 or email awards@mertonchamber.co.uk.
