New Wimbledon Theatre is a beautiful Grade II listed masterpiece that has stood in Merton, London for over a century. The theatre is ripe with history and has hosted some of the biggest plays, musicals and performances from around the world. With an immense seating capacity, this is one of the premiere venues in London, with a rich history of pantomime opening on Boxing Day 1910 with Jack and Jill and continuing the festive tradition into 2022. The Studio at New Wimbledon Theatre is a 50-80 seat black box theatre with amazing development work from new writers, comedians, directors and producers. The Studio is home to the #FromTheFringe season in June and our autumn Premieres season of new writing.
